February is about Love and Quality Chocolate
Welcome to my Monday Morning Message!
February is a short month — but it’s full of meaning.
It’s often called the month of love, and not just the romantic kind. February carries themes of connection, compassion, reflection, and renewal. It sits right in the middle of winter while quietly pointing us toward spring — a reminder that change is coming, even if we’re not quite there yet.
And… February is also real life.
Unfinished New Year’s intentions. Long to-do lists. Work deadlines, homework, laundry, and emails that don’t care what month it is. So the invitation this month isn’t to escape your life or carve out hours for reflection — it’s to bring a little more heart into the life you’re already living.
February isn’t asking you to do more.
It’s asking you to do small things with more intention.
Love this month might look like:
• Speaking to yourself more kindly in the morning
• Taking one deep breath before reacting
• Choosing connection instead of judgment — with yourself or someone else
This is also a transition month — moving us from winter toward spring, and from the Year of the Snake to the Year of the Fire Horse. A time to gather energy, gain clarity, and gently let go of what no longer fits.
And most importantly… if you’re going to buy someone special a box of chocolates, please make it the good-quality stuff.
February may be short — but the way you show up in it can be deeply meaningful.
With warmth,
Colette
